We collect what we need to ship your order and run the shop — nothing more. We don't sell your data.

This policy covers WashMerch (washmerch.com) and explains what information we collect when you browse, order, or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
You give us
- Order details: name, shipping address, email, phone, and the products and quantities you buy.
- Account details: if you create an account, your email and an optional company name and full name.
- Custom artwork: logos and design files you upload for custom orders. We use these only to produce your order and keep them on file so reorders are easy.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, or the newsletter signup.
Collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, approximate location from your IP, browser and device type. Standard server logs.
- Cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in and to remember your cart. See the cookies section below.
How we use it
- Process, produce, and ship your orders, and handle returns.
- Send order confirmations, proof approvals, and shipping updates.
- Answer your questions and provide support.
- Send operator deals and restock alerts — only if you opt in, and you can leave any time.
- Detect fraud, keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
Service providers we rely on
Running a shop takes a few trusted vendors. Each gets only the data it needs to do its job:
- Stripe handles payments. Your full card number is sent directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. Stripe processes it under its own privacy policy.
- Resend sends our transactional and marketing email (order confirmations, shipping notices, opt-in deals).
- Supabase stores account, order, and product data on our behalf.
- Shipping carriers receive the name and address needed to deliver your order.
Cookies
We keep cookies minimal. We use a session cookie so you stay logged in and your cart persists between visits, plus essential cookies that keep the checkout secure. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies, though blocking the session cookie will break login and checkout.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as we need them for accounting, warranty, and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and personal details at any time, except where we're legally required to keep a record of a transaction.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing email. To exercise any of these, email hello@washmerch.comfrom the address on your account. We'll respond within 30 days. You can update most account details yourself under your account, and unsubscribe from marketing using the link in any deal email.
Children
WashMerchsells to businesses and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes that affect how we use your data will be flagged by email to account holders.
